There will be an increased air of excitement greeting visitors to this year’s 51st edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. Cosmopack, the B2B show-within-the show dedicated to the beauty supply chain, will take place Thursday, March 15 through Sunday, March 18. COSMO Perfumery & Cosmetics—a new specific salon of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018 and devoted to buyers, distributors and companies interested in retail Perfumery & Cosmetics, will be open these same days—starting one day prior to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna’s COSMO Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon, taking place March 16-19.

Visitors to the show March 15-18 will have access to Cosmopack exhibitors specializing in Contract & Private Label Manufacturing, Machinery & Packaging, Ingredients & Raw Materials and Country Pavilions; as well as Cosmoprime Cosmetics & Toiletries, Green & Organic and a range of Country Pavilions in Halls 14-16–16A–29B.
Show organizers say combining Cosmopack’s focus on the evolution of the cosmetic business and its entire supply chain—from raw materials to formulation, from machinery to packaging—with the new exhibitor layout of the halls devoted to the Perfumery & Cosmetics sector, will enable attendees to maximize their visit, increase opportunities and develop new products.

The popular Cosmopack Factory will once again be up and running, this year producing Powderful, a project for the production of a palette covering all the industrial steps, from concept to design to the most appealing sales experience in the retail channel. Trendsetters, designers, influencers, retailers and digital managers will all take part in the project. Powderful, whose design will be curated by international design agency, Centedegrés, will have the technical support of a selection of companies exhibiting in Cosmopack.

March 16-19: COSMO Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon

COSMO Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon is a new specific area, open from Friday, March 16 to Monday, March 19. Dedicated to the professional hair, nail and beauty sector, this portion of the show will feature Professional-Hair, Beauty & Spa, Nailworld and Country Pavilions in Halls 29A-34-35A.

With exhibitors specialized in aesthetic equipment, accessories and furnishings, and country pavilions from China and Taiwan, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will offer a distinct opportunity for professional operators working in beauty centers, wellness and spa and hairdressing salons. Organizers say Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon “represents a unique opportunity for professional updating and networking, thanks to the specific initiatives and a live show, which will present the latest products and trends.”
